Our Trainers


Jay Furtado
- Part owner and Personal Trainer 

Jay is one of Rhode Islands most respected Personal Trainers. For the past 8 years Jay has used his experience as a teacher, trainer and athlete to help others reach their health and fitness goals. He is an ISSA certified personal trainer and nutritional counsler as well as a former professional football player. He taught special education for six years while coaching basketball and football at both high school and college levels. Jay attended the University of New Haven on a football scholarship and continued on to graduate from UMass Dartmouth, where the passing records he established still stand.  

For the past six years, Jay has been improving the lives of many dedicated Barrington residents. He is selective about the clients he accepts into his training program. He admits that the client is responsible for achieving the results, and that it takes an enormous amount of discipline and determination. But Jay's techniques soften the blow by making workouts fun, challenging, and a bit different each time.





Adam Silva
- Personal Trainer

Adam is a certified Personal Trainer with 10 years experience in the industry. A former competitive power lifter and division one college athlete, Adam has first hand experience with all aspects of fitness and training. He trains athletes how to take their game to the next level. Adam has extensive experience training clients of all ages, young teens through mature adults, with a wide range of strength and capabilities. Through constant research and networking, Adam is able to provide his clients with the most up to date training exercises, keeping his sessions challenging as well as enjoyable.



Kayla Rounds - Personal Trainer

A recent graduate of the University of Vermont, Kayla holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Movement Science. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as an ACE certified personal trainer.  Kayla has been involved in gymnastics since the age of 5.  She finished her career as a level 10 gymnasts before transitioning into coaching.  During all four years of attending UVM, she was the head coach of the club gymnastics team.  As well as a personal training at 360 she is the assistant gymnastics coach at Rhode Island College.



Joyce Leven - Personal Trainer 

Joyce Leven is the most recent addition to 360 Total Fitness Training. A former motivational speaker, Joyce has experience in group fitness, personal training and Coach to 5k training. She has participated in a number of relays, such as Reach The Beach, The RI Relay and The Vermont 100 on 100 and has also run The Boston Marathon. Joyce has encouraged and succeeded with training close to 60 people to cross the finish line for their first 5K. She plays tennis and women's recreational soccer, and cross trains with sprint triathlons during the spring and summer months.
